What Does Echolocation Mean?

Screenshot 2014-06-25 at 9.56.30 AM.pngEcholocation is what Ben Underwood uses to see. It means that when he does a clicking sound it rebounds off the object and the sound comes back. He knows where he is going and where the object is. He is the only one in the world that can see without eyes, and he can hear cars before his friends can see.

Bats use a clicking sound to find food to eat. When they get closer they do a faster clicking sound to see where their food is, like a moth. Bats have really big ears for hearing. Whales make a sound underwater to call other whales and to find food.
